ASSOCIATION ENTR’AIDE SANTE
“Hope comes from the heart”
Who are we?
Our mission
The association, created in February 1999, aims to help develop existing health structures in the Third World and in Africa in particular. Collection of medical equipment and medicines, Creation and implementation of a twinning process between health structures here and those in Africa (North/South), prevention of STIs in migrant environments (AIDS, etc.), training of trainers (prevention relay).
Our activities
The first years of our activities were mainly dedicated to health prevention and support actions for migrants, in collaboration with local health organizations and regional support organizations. The year 2007 was marked by the birth of the Women's Challenge Health Center project in Cameroon (Djeleng Yom), as part of the International Solidarity project for migrant associations. This resulted in the identification of our partner in Cameroon – the Kounchiechoue Association and collaboration in local achievements.
Creation of the health center
''Women's Challenge''
Poumougne (Djeleng Yom - Cameroon)
The “Défis des Femmes” health center was designed to contribute to improving prevention (STDs, HIV, early pregnancies, blood pressure, diabetes, malaria, malnutrition), reception, first aid to patients before referral towards more appropriate health structures, advice on food and personal hygiene, and to train women relays and organize places to listen. The development of the health center currently represents the main activity of the association.
